This Privacy Policy explains what happens to information when you use SmartyGO IPTV Player.

SmartyGO has no backend servers. App settings and local library data stay on your Android device, while advertising is provided by Google AdMob as described below.

We do not collect data on our servers

SmartyGO does not collect, transmit, or store your personal information on SmartyGO servers. We have no servers, no analytics system, and no in-app tracking system operated by us.

Local data storage

Information you enter or create in the app is stored locally on your Android device. This may include:

  • App settings and preferences
  • Playlist URLs and credentials you enter
  • Viewing history, watched state, and favorites
  • Profile information and parental-control settings

This local data does not get uploaded to SmartyGO. We cannot access it. Please protect any playlist credentials you choose to save on your device.

Third-party services

Google AdMob

SmartyGO uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect or process information such as device identifiers, IP address, approximate location, ad interactions, and diagnostic information in accordance with Google's policies and your device or consent settings. SmartyGO does not receive or store this information on its own servers.

IPTV providers

You provide your own IPTV playlist or credentials. SmartyGO has no relationship with your IPTV provider and does not control that provider's privacy practices, streaming content, or data handling.

Children's privacy

SmartyGO includes Kids and Adult profiles, content filtering, PIN protection, and local viewing-time controls. These features work on your device and do not create online accounts or send children's profile information to SmartyGO.

If AdMob is used in a child-directed context, advertising configuration and consent requirements must follow Google's policies and applicable law. See Google's publisher privacy disclosures ↗ for more information.

Your data controls

Because SmartyGO app data is stored locally, you have control over it:

  • Delete profiles or playlists inside the app
  • Clear SmartyGO app data through your Android device settings
  • Uninstall SmartyGO to remove its local app data from the device
